A Little About My Journey
For over two decades, I’ve been weaving a career in the creative world, guided by a vision that took root when I was just five years old. Even then, the words weren’t as clear as they are now, but I knew deep within that I wanted to be a light in the world—a beacon of transformational peace and growth, not just for myself, but for everyone I encountered.
Growing up in a place where everyone seemed destined to become just another statistic, I often found myself dreaming of the day I could prove that the power of the mind could change lives. I wanted to show that the limitations placed on us by circumstance were just that—limitations to be transcended. My creative gifts became the channel through which I honored this vision, allowing me to bridge what I love with the needs of an amazing global audience.
Over the years, my creative journey also evolved into a path of service. While pursuing my music and creative ventures, I naturally found myself mentoring developing artists at record labels, as well as guiding creative professionals and designers. It became clear that my role as a mentor was deeply intertwined with my personal journey. I’ve always been committed to supporting others in realizing their potential, offering insight and direction through the same blend of creativity and intuition that has shaped my own path.
Through this blend of creativity and guided intuition, I’ve carved out a path that has taken me far beyond the confines of my beginnings. As a touring Folk/Singer-Songwriter and recording artist, I’ve shared my inspired message of peace and creative harmony in places as far-flung as Japan, the UK, and across the U.S. My journey has not only been about sharing my music but also about using my creative gifts to support the visions and missions of businesses, influential creatives, and entrepreneurs through my strategic branding agency, Smith & Sylvan. With Smith & Sylvan, I’m able to extend my passion for creativity and purpose-driven work by helping brands elevate their identity and amplify their impact.
What has driven me throughout all these years is a growth mindset and an unwavering belief in the power of creative expression. This mindset has led me to an effortless flow state, where imagination and reality blend seamlessly.
